What type of music is best for a french themed meal?
Were having this Formal Food Function in school and the theme we picked was French Dining. Sort of like a Southern-France Chateau-and-gardens feel to it.
It’s supposed to be this all-out shindig. It’s our biggest class project in Home Ec! The students plan the whole thing. We get to cook, serve, entertain, host, the whole nine yards.
Any suggestions on entertainment for our guests? Were only getting like a dozen teachers/administrators.
And take note, were only sophomores in high school. Any ideas?

I’d go with anything by Gotan Project. Their sound may not be 100% french, but they are upbeat and exotic. Personal suggestions are “Una Musica Brutal” and “Epoca”.

look up this artist called charlotte gainsburg. she sings in french as well as english.
i know this french card game called loup garou, which would be ideal. if you look it up on the net, you might be able to find a set by the time of the dinner.
